The Club arranges additional entertainments on an ad hoc basis, including frequent Jazz concerts, Dances, Quizzes, Curry nights, Barbecues and Carveries. For details of these, please refer to the following list:
Saturday 2nd, 8.00pm: The Beer Parlor Jivers - lively American Western Swing. Ticket entry (M £5.00. G £7.00) on sale at the Bar from 13th April. Food available to purchase at 7.00 pm
Monday 4th: CLUB CLOSED
Wednesday 6th, 2.30 pm: Tea Dance, with music by Bob. Another opportunity to practice your Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers skills as well as enjoying a cream tea!
Sunday 10th, 12.15 pm: Another Sunday Special, with Yvonne Evans and The Buzz Hughes Quartet. This celebrated songstress is making a welcome return visit. Ticket entry, (M £5.00, G £6.00) on sale from 20th April. Light lunches available to order
Wednesday 20th, 2.30 pm: Tea Dance, with music by Bob. Another opportunity to practice your Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers skills as well as enjoying a cream tea!
Wednesday 20th, 7.00 pm: Special General Meeting. To appoint Auditors for the current year (adjourned from the March AGM)
Monday 25th, 11.00 am: Luton Carnival - Perfect viewing from the Club overlooking the Carnival route. Enjoy some food and drink whilst watching.
Tuesday 26th, 8.00pm: Quiz Night. These continue to be very popular - arrive early to get a head start on the Marathon.
Wednesday 27th, 2.30pm: Tea Dance, with music by Bob. Cream Teas available
Saturday 30th, 8.00 pm: Club dance
Sunday 31st, 12.15 pm: Another Sunday special, with Paul Roberts and The Swingers. This 5 piece group, making their second visit, will be playing Swing, Dixieland and Jive. Ticket entry, (M £4.00, G £5.00) on sale from 11th May. Light lunches available to order
